Reaffirming its belief that education goes beyond classrooms, KL University announced a strong sporting milestone achieved by students of its constituent institution, KLH Global Business School (KLH GBS). The students delivered standout performances at the South Zone Inter-University Tennis Tournament, making a decisive impact at one of the most competitive university sporting events in South India.
The tournament witnessed exceptional individual and team contributions from KLH GBS athletes. On the women’s side, Muruga Sera Anjum, a third-year BBA student, emerged as a key force with her composed and determined play. In the men’s category, Nashik Reddy, a third-year BBA student, and Dheeraj Reddy, a second-year BBA student, displayed consistency and resilience throughout the competition. Their efforts resulted in one Winner title and two Runners-Up finishes, a performance that earned all three players selection to the All-India Inter-University Team and qualification for the Khelo India University Games 2026.
The achievement was reinforced by a cohesive team effort across campuses. From the Vijayawada campus, Muni Ananth Mani and T. Shashank played stabilising roles during high-pressure moments, while Prashant Reddy from the Aziznagar campus contributed steady performances that anchored the squad. In the women’s category, Lakshmi Siri and Rishita Reddy, both first-year BCA students, along with Vennela Reddy, a first-year CSE student from Aziznagar, demonstrated strong coordination and mental composure, strengthening the team through trust and shared focus.
The South Zone Inter-University Tennis Tournament 2025 was hosted at JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) and brought together leading universities from across the region. The competition tested endurance, strategy, and mental strength across demanding knockout rounds, providing a platform where preparation and teamwork proved decisive.
